“CUZN Filter” lends its name from the discovery of KDF in the early 1980’s. KDF is a high-purity copper-zinc (CuZn) alloy that uses redox chemistry to adsorb contaminants from water.

Waslix is an American owned and managed company located in Pittsburgh, PA. We are not affiliated with the original CuZn Filtration Company (they are no longer operating). The Waslix Company now manufactures replacement water filter cartridges for CuZn systems and other compatible brands. Our new Slim Line to Jumbo Series drop-in cartridges are universally compatible with original CuZn and other major filtration housing brands. We only use high-strength filtration media to adsorb more water impurities, and our premium-quality water filters last even longer than conventional replacement filters.
